This limited-edition label is the result of years of experimentation by winemaker Nikos Karavitakis, who sought to capture the ultimate “mineral” identity of Crete’s flagship white variety.
Sourced from a single vineyard perched at an altitude of 640 meters, this Vidiano thrives in a climate that emphasizes its most vibrant and “stony” characteristics. To allow the land to speak truly, the wine is fermented exclusively with wild (indigenous) yeasts in stainless steel tanks. It remains in contact with its fine lees for a remarkable 36 months, gaining profound complexity, volume, and a rich, oily texture before bottling.
