Garakis Vidiano White Dry Wine

Experience the “flagship of the Cretan vineyard’s rebirth” with the Garakis Vidiano. Produced by the dedicated Garakis Winery in the picturesque village of Kounavoi, Heraklion, this wine is a testament to the family’s commitment to organic farming and the preservation of indigenous Cretan heritage.
This terroir-driven Vidiano is sourced from four small, organically cultivated vineyard parcels. These vines are planted in poor, calcareous (limestone) soils, which provide the wine with remarkable energy and a distinctive vertical structure.
The winemaking process involves a classic white vinification at controlled temperatures. To gain complexity and volume, the wine remains in contact with its fine lees for three months, undergoing weekly battonage (stirring).
