In greek, agourelaio means "unripe-oil". In late Autumn a small selection of olives is harvested just before they begin to ripen. This unique monocultivar olive oil is extracted from Koroneiki olives grown in Crete, Greece. High in polyphenols, these macronutrients are full of antioxidants and can provide health and nutrition benefits. The olives are hand picked and cold extracted to preserve the beneficial organic substances of the agourelaio. The resulting olive oil is wonderfully well-balanced and incredibly smooth and fruity, perfect to be served with fresh garden salads or freshly toasted bread with a pinch of oregano.
